Carmela G. Cerullo

Community Anti-bullying Award

The Carmela G. Cerullo Anti-Bullying Award has been set forth to acknowledge an individual who has impacted his or her community. We will strive to both influence & find individuals who value & understand the importance of bringing children & communities together in new & innovative ways. Whether this action was done to stop, cope or prevent bullying, we plan to acknowledge this action in hopes to bring it new light within our communities.

This award has been funded by the generous donation of Mr. Nick Stathes, a big Anti Bullying Advocate and former victim from the State of California, given to honor TAB’s founder Dr. Claudio Cerullo’s mother who recently passed away in 2014. Before Carmela G. Cerullo left us, she asked her son to continue his work and to always exemplify the courage that he showed as a child when he was a victim himself.

The Carmela G. Cerullo Award will continue to embrace the love and courage she portrayed and shared with many that knew her. TeachAntiBullying.org. is now accepting applications for The Carmela G. Cerullo Community Award.
